“The purposes of Pittsford Garden Club shall be to encourage each individual member to gain greater knowledge, interest and enjoyment of all aspects of gardening, horticulture, and nature, both by teaching and promotion of civic beautification through our work efforts.”

We will sponsor projects the club shall deem important and promote the aims of Seventh District, Federated Garden Clubs of New York State Inc.

The Pittsford Garden Club donates proceeds from the annual Plant Sale in May to the Pittsford Food Cupboard. Each year members create a floral arrangement for the Elderberry Express Volunteer Luncheon.

Pittsford Library

Floral arrangements are placed in the Pittsford Library by members according to schedule. Arrangements are placed from September to June.

Rochester Civic Garden Center of Rochester

Annual contribution to CARE-World Gardening Youth (Junior Garden Club). Every month we teach our gardening skills and nature appreciation to 3 – 4 year old children at PUNS (Pittsford United Nursery School)


Flowers for Hospice Program:  Once a month, small bouquets of fresh flowers are made.  Lifespan and Lifetime Care Volunteers pick them up and deliver them to Pittsford residents in Hospice.

Town and Village of Pittsford

In cooperation with the Town and Village of Pittsford, the Pittsford Garden Club continues to plant daffodils and narcissus in various locations in the town or village.

The Pittsford Garden Club seeks input from the town and village as to other beautification projects.
